Role Purpose:
Plan, create, and ensure the correct documentation related to all production and consumptions activities as well as assist Finance and Operations Services Manager in calculating and updating rates for costing purposes.Work with Customer Service and Sales to ensure new materials are properly setup and initiated through the business process.
Responsibilities:
1) Quality Adherence: Ensure qualitative data in SAP
Troubleshoot errors with production orders
Provide continuous training to new users
Correct/repair errors made by end users by reprocessing or reworking the orders
Post goods movements for stock adjustments at the plant level
Create BOMS, Routings & Work Center for new or modified materials.
2) Data Handling: Coordinate all data from sites (Prod, DT, Consumptions) to ensure centralised data handling
Create and confirm all production orders related to the site/region the function is responsible for
3) Support: Support all SAP users
Adjust BOMS and Routings to satisfy production changes and requests made by finance.
Assist in the development of Site Ops/ODS
Work with Sales, Customer Service and Finance in the creation of new materials and update rates for costing purposes
Support users with common SAP functions
Answer general SAP related questions
Provide assistance with finding answers to questions which are not related to the production stream
4) Safety: Maintain good housekeeping techniques in order to minimize sample contamination as well as keeping a safe work environment.
Report safety problems to supervisor immediately for resolution.
Maintain vigilance for the elimination of unnecessary procedures, unsafe work methods, contamination control, etc. and report to supervisor for implementation or resolution.
