Financial Production Lead

In the Finance team, we also think out of the box and with automated and optimized processes. Alan has the ambition to become a listed company at some point. We believe that we should start to act like one right now. As Finance production lead, you would be responsible for building and deploying the financial production organization that Alan deserves for the whole group and across 3 countries. We are looking for : – A 6+ years experience profile in corporate finance- with strong knowledge in both accounting and financial planning- with strong experience in project management, building new processes

Detailed missions

  • You would be responsible for the production of all financial information shared internally and externally for the whole group (6 entities across 3 countries + others in the future) 
  • Translating the activity and business operations of each of our subsidiaries into financials. 
  • Own and ensure our accounts are closed in a timely manner in France and international markets (Spain, Belgium, and others in the future).
  • Build a consolidation process and own the production of consolidated figures. 
  • Produce on-time, reliable financial information to comply with our legal obligations (shareholders, tax administration, regulator, etc.) 
  • Lead the interactions with our tech and financial auditors, support the ACPR reporting and interactions,
  • Take part in the preparation of the business plans, and the development, and structuring of the FP&A monitoring. 
  • The Finance production lead will work hand to hand with the FP&A lead to build scalable accounting and financial monitoring tools, processes, and teams to accompany business growth and international expansion. 
  • The role requires a great ability to take a step back and understand the business of the group and going very deep into the processes to frame and design them hand-to-hand with our business operation teams. 

    • Key outcomes by 1 year

  • We have restructured our financial organization to comply with our new corporate structure and their activities (7 entities across 3 countries in a consolidated structure vs 3 unconsolidated entities currently)
  • We are able to produce consolidated financial accounts at D+7 on a monthly basis.
  • We are able to share our monthly financial report at D+9. 
  • We are able to report under IFRS (we currently only report under French GAAP).
  • We are able to monitor our accounts vs our budget on a rolling basis.
  • We have secured our accounting production process through automation and internal controls. 

    • Ideal Profile

  • I graduated from one of the top engineering (eg. X, Mines Paris, Centrale-Supélec, ENSAE, Ponts, Telecom Paris) or business (eg. HEC, Essec, ESCP, EDHEC, Dauphine, EM Lyon) schools or international equivalent. 
  • I started my career in an audit firm (eg. KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, EY, Mazars) where I built a strong background in accounting and corporate finance.
  • I worked in the finance team of a Next40 Startup where I owned the structuration of the financial processes in a fast-growing environment.
  • I am now excited by the challenge to lead the structuration of the finance production organization a rocketship as Alan deserves. 
  • Having an insurance specialty would be a plus.

  • Fluency in spoken and written English and French:
  • English: All our communications are written and in English in the company. The team is very international. 
  • French: Account production is regulated in French we interact with French-speaker counterparts
